Steve Thielman studied piano performance at Western Michigan University. WMU provided him the opportunity to take part in master classes with many esteemed visiting artists including Yefim Bronfman, Larry Golding, Danilo Perez, and Billy Hart. For 3 years, Steve was the lead pianist and keyboardist in the WMU Symphonic Band and toured with that group to Australia, Fiji, and New Zealand. Steve also spent many years in various bands including Archipelago, The Flow, and La Famigilia. These groups allowed him to share the stage with such acts as Umphrey's McGee, The Wailers, Toots and the Maytals, Talib Kweli, Liquid Soul, 50 Cent and many more.
Steve has a large repertoire encompassing many styles from Classical to Jazz to Pop. In recent years he has been playing solo piano for events and weddings and currently plays every Tuesday morning at The Book Nook and Java Shop.
Bryan Uecker is a regular performer at the Classical Music Night the first Tuesday of each month at the Book Nook and Java Shop, of which he is one of the owners.
